The existing practice lacked an effective solution for accurately reading the dial gauge. By utilising the BlueDial wireless digital dial indicator, the company eliminated the need for an operator to be in hazardous situations with the live dozer. The digital dial indicator provided precise readouts, and the accompanying software-generated graphs significantly sped up the readout process.
 
As a result, the Risk Score was dramatically lowered from a high likelihood of major injury (ten times per year) to a low likelihood of minor injury (once every ten years). Additionally, the device reduced exposure to risk by completing the job more quickly.
